Acqua is a newly-established preschool in San Rafael, California and we are opening our classroom on June 24. We are dedicated to guiding children ages 3 – 6 to find their love of learning. Our teachers foster this love through collaborative lessons, exploration, engaging play, and authentic conversation. We are now accepting applications for our Summer Program and the 2019-2020 Academic Year. 

Summer at Acqua

Your child will find a love of learning through our encouraging and positive environment. The unique Montessori approach and materials stimulate creative thought and the development of critical-thinking skills. Children are taught individually, as we mindfully select activities that they find both challenging and fun. Students enrolled in the Summer Program are introduced to the Montessori Method and maintain their learning momentum throughout the year.

Our Summer Program focuses on three topics: Who, What, and Where. 

Sports: Children are introduced to different sports that encourage movement and physical development. 

Eric Carle: Through his story-telling, Eric Carle has captured the imagination of children around the world. We will introduce many of his wonderful children’s books while learning about the topics that inspired them. 

Rainforest: We will explore the many species that call this place home. As we introduce this engaging subject, we follow the children’s curiosities and study the topics that they are drawn to the most. We thoughtfully create different materials and activities tailored to each child’s personal interest.
