Wildfire Awareness and Fun at the Ember Stomp Festival

Marin's annual free festival of wildfire prevention, Ember Stomp, returns to the Marin County Fairgrounds this Saturday, September 6, from 10 am to 4 pm. Learn about wildfire preparedness and enjoy entertainment and fun for the whole family.
At Ember Stomp 2025 families can meet fire-preventing grazing goats, sing along to wildfire-themed songs with Farmer Arann from Windrush Farm, meet firefighters, play games, create art projects, test your skills in the fire obstacle course, get a face painting or a temporary tattoo, and much much more. There will also be favorite local food trucks on hand, including Tommy's Salsa, Forrest Fire BBQ, and Casablanca Moroccan & Mediterranean Food.
Ember Stomp is of course all about fire prevention and preparedness, so In addition to all the fun, you'll find emergency preparedness resources, a fire-resilient landscaping exhibit, a live burn demonstration, and an evacuation drill. You can even win $1,000 to help protect your home from wildfire!
Ember Stomp 2025 is produced by Fire Safe Marin and takes place on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Marin County Fairgrounds, 10 Avenue of the Flags, San Rafael CA 94903 (near the Civic Center). Admission is free for everyone. Free parking is available around the fairgrounds and the festival is easily reachable by the SMART train and transit.
