Your Child's International Education Starts at LFSF
All subjects are introduced in preschool. They are revisited year after year, allowing skills and knowledge to deepen.
Starting the school year, especially for the very first time, is an exciting change for both children and their parents or guardians. It’s a significant milestone, but our school team will be here to guide and support you every step of the way. In our new Blog post “Starting School : 10 tips and tools for a confident start”: we explain what to expect and offer advice and resources to help you navigate this important transition with confidence to encourage your child during this journey.
Are you curious to know how preschool students feel at school? How they think? What they like? Discover our new mini video series! In “I’m a big kid now!”, children tell us what’s happening in their young minds… or on the playground.
The new mini series captures preschool students in their classrooms and provides us with a unique peek at their life at school.
At 1, 2, or 3… There’s something for everyone!
Whether your child is one, two, three (or more), there’s a Lycée program built just for you on one of our two Primary campuses!
With Happy Play, once a week, 1 to 3-year-old toddlers are introduced to the fun of bilingualism with stories, songs, dance and hands-on activities during fun and interactive, in-person classes.
Preschool then starts at age 2. Whether on our Ashbury campus (in SF) or on the Sausalito one (Marin), kids in La Petite Ecole enjoy a curriculum that naturally and gently prepares them for an exciting bilingual journey. Together, they play and learn, socialize and interact, develop gross and fine motor skills, in a bilingual environment. They learn to think and organize their thoughts, while exploring the world around them. From La Petite Ecole through Kindergarten, preschool builds the foundations children will later use during their entire schooling!
After preschool, students can choose between two tracks. Both lead to the international education that leads to true global-mindedness.
An International Education in Marin open to all students
At LFSF, students grow up in a multicultural environment and receive an international education.
They can choose between our core French Track and the IB-powered International Track with no French required. Both challenge and inspire children regardless of their language skills.
The quality of these educational programs is only matched by the wide variety of services provided at the Lycée. Among them, our unique 4-year, college counseling preparation provides a student centered approach that includes wellness, personal development and choices after high school. As a result, our college admissions results speak for themselves.
The unique international profile of our students is an advantage in their admissions journey to universities worldwide.
