Here's our weekly list of 15 fun things to do with the kids this week, September 21–27. From storytimes and drive-in movies and boat rides and museums, there's something for everyone.

Keep in mind that some of these activities require advance registration or fees, so check the organizer's website before you attend. If you have something fun you'd like to share, please let us know and we'll consider it for next week's list!

  1. Make a batch of English-style scones for a proper afternoon tea.
  2. The Sausalito Library presents Online Stories and Songs: Bear Has a Story to Tell.
  3. Join the fun at Music in the Park with JAMaROO Kids, Mondays, Old Mill Park (10–10:30 am) & Blackie's Pasture (11:45 am–12:15 pm).
  4. Rent a boat, relax, and paddle around Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park.
  5. Stretch out with Mom & Baby Livestream Yoga with Veronica at Pomegranate, San Anselmo, Tuesday, September 22, 11 am.
  6. Drop in to the Bay Area Discovery Museum for outdoor creative play, Wednesdays–Sundays, 9 am–4 pm.
  7. Create Peanuts origami live online with the Charles M. Schulz Museum, Wednesday, September 23, 4–5 pm.
  8. Stroll through the amazing rows of flowers at the Happy Dahlia Farm in Petaluma, Wednesday–Sunday, 10 am–4 pm
  9. Catch up with cartoonist Keith Knight, part of the virtual Marin Comics Fest, Wednesday, September 23, 6–7 pm
  10. Visit the Petaluma Pumpkin Patch and A'Mazing Corn Maze, opening Friday, September 25
  11. The Petaluma Drive-in Movie presents the classic movie Ghostbusters the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds. Friday, September 25, 7:30 pm.
  12. Tune in to YouTube for If You Give a Pig a Pancake online storytime with the Oakland Zoo.
  13. Visit the reopened de Young museum — Bay Area residents get free general admission on Saturday, September 26, 9:30 am–5:15 pm (advance timed tickets required).
  14. Experience the adventures of The Fantastic Mr. Fox outside the old Hamilton Theater in Novato. Saturday, September 26, 8:30 pm.
  15. Join Megan Schoenbohm for a outdoor, socially distanced, family music class at the Village Child in downtown Novato, Sunday, 11 am–noon.
