ODC/Dance is thrilled to present the 33rd season of a beloved Bay Area tradition, The Velveteen Rabbit, returning to the Blue Shield of California Theater at YBCA from November 29 to December 8. Through music, dance, and a powerful narrative, The Velveteen Rabbit celebrates the unique connection between a little boy and his stuffed rabbit, and the enduring power of love. The performance of Margery Williams’ classic tale is brimming with wit, festive costumes, madcap characters and holiday cheer that is sure to captivate the hearts of parents and children alike.
 
This year celebrate all month long as the Velveteen Rabbit hops around San Francisco for special events! Join the Velveteen Rabbit and characters from the show for a reading of the classic story followed by a special sneak peak performance with some of the show’s kid’s cast at San Francisco Bloomingdale’s on Saturday, November 16! Keep the weekend outings going with characters from the performance at the Embarcadero Center Holiday Ice Rink on Saturday, November 23 for a full afternoon of ice skating with live bunnies to pet and play with from SaveABunny Bay Area.
