Bay Area Discovery Museum Closed for Annual Maintenance

Sausalito's Bay Area Discovery Museum, Marin's favorite hands-on place for kids to learn and explore, will be closed for its annual maintenance and staff training the next two weeks—from Monday, September 9– Monday, September 20, 2024. They close at this time each year for two weeks to clean, undertake improvement projects that can't be done when they're open to the public. The museum will re-open on Tuesday, September 21, 2024.

Regular hours at the Bay Area Discovery Museum are Tuesday–Sunday, 9 am–5 pm. In addition to this September's maintenance week, it's closed on Thanksgiving Day (November 28), Christmas Eve (December 24), Christmas Day (December 25).
