Big Art Weekend at the Bay Area Discovery Museum

On Saturday and Sunday, March 28 and 29, 2026, roll up your sleeves and head to the Bay Area Discovery Museum, which will become a vibrant art studio for Big Art Weekend! Immerse yourself in art and discover opportunities to get creative around every corner! All activities included in admission.
Advance tickets are highly recommended and are on sale now. Admission is free and advance tickets are not required for Bay Area Discovery Museum members. Members also get early entry at 9 am! Big Art Weekend ticket prices are $30 for adults and children ages 1–17, $28 for seniors 65+, and $5 for Museums for All qualifiers, and free for babies under one. Member tickets are $10 each.

At Big Art Weekend kids can:
- Create glowing, one-of-a-kind globes
- Spray, splash, and make masterpieces with Spray Play
- Dive into a fluffy foam party (bring a change of clothes!)
- Build a whimsical wind chime
- Construct a communal sculpture with recycled cardboard
- And more!
Big Art Weekend hours are 9 am to 4 pm; no member hour if offered during the event. Parking is free. The Bay Area Discovery Museum is located in Fort Baker at 557 McReynolds Road in Sausalito CA 94965, at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge.
