Celebrate 30 Years of Pixar at the Lark Theater!

Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story

The Lark Theater, Marin's own Art Deco, art house mini movie palace, celebrates three decades of innovative animated films from the Bay Area's own Pixar Animation Studios with 30 Years of Pixar, a special series showcasing favorite films that are perfect for the whole family. Part one of the series, which focuses on movies made from 1995 to 2010, begins this Saturday, November 2, with the groundbreaking original Toy Story, which introduced now-familiar characters like Woody the cowboy and Buzz Lightyear to audiences.

Movies will be shown on Saturdays at 9 am, with a bargain "early bird" admission price of $5, Sundays at 3 pm, and Mondays at 6 pm. Regular (non-early bird) tickets cost $12.25 each and can be purchased online.

The part one series lineup includes:

  • Toy Story (1995): November 2–4
  • A Bug's Life (1998): November 9–11
  • Toy Story 2 (1999): November 16–18
  • Monsters, Inc. (2001): November 24–25
  • Finding Nemo (2003): November 30, December 1–2
  • The Incredibles (2004): December 8–9
  • Cars (2006): December 14–16
  • Ratatouille (2007): December 21–23
  • Wall-E (2008): December 28–30
  • Up (2009): January 4–6
