Sunday, September 21, 11 am–2 pm
Larson Family Winery celebrates the harvest with a grape stomp, pony rides, wagon tours of the vineyard, live music, barrel tastings, and food from Sonoma's Tri Tip Trolley. $45 adults, $20 kids (or under 21). More info - Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival

Family-friendly Larson Family Winery will again be offering a pumpkin patch at the winery. Pick a pumpkin and mom and dad can taste some award-winning organic wines. They also have games like bocce and corn hole and farm animals to visit. More info - Pumpkin Day

Saturday, October 4, 11 am–5 pm
Visit Oak Hill Farm for their annual pumpkin harvest party! Enjoy music by Arann Harris and the Farm Band, apple cider pressing, and food, and watch as a huge pumpkin trebuchet hurls pumpkins through the air. The Red Barn Store will be open to shop for fruit, veggies, and flowers. Free. More info

Saturday, October 25, 6–7:30 pm
Join Sonoma State Historic Park for some fun at their special spooky campfire program. Kids (and adults) are encouraged to come in costume. There will be a short talk, a spooky song, and a marshmallow roast. Enter through the wooden gates and proceed into the Sonoma Barracks Courtyard. For all ages, free admission. You'll find plenty of other fun things to do in the wine country with the kiddos — take a ride at Sonoma TrainTown (and feed the animals), picnic and play in the plaza, and tour the mission and other historic sites to learn more about California history.
