Our Favorite Fall Treats from Trader Joe's

You know that fall is truly on the way when Trader Joe's unveils their line of pumpkin-flavored goodies and other treats to celebrate the season. We braved the line and our local TJ's this week and picked up a few of our favorites plus a couple new-to-us items that looked appealing.

Needless to say this is but a small sample of Trader Joe's annual fall pumpkin bounty, so you'll have to visit to see what they have in stock right now. What's your favorite pumpkin goodie at Trader Joe's?

Pumpkin  Bread & Muffin Mix

This is one of our favorite fall products from Trader Joe's, and is perfect for spiced pumpkin loaves and muffins. I sometimes mix in some pumpkin seeds or chopped walnuts for a little variety. I'm always so upset when it disappears from the store after Christmas.

Spiced Cider

It seems like we drink gallons of this stuff in our house every fall and winter. Hot or cold, it's so good!

Pumpkin Pancake and Waffle Mix

Pumpkin pancakes and waffles are pretty easy to make from scratch, but making them with this mix is even easier and just as good, with a nice mix of spices.

Pumpkin Biscotti

These are pleasantly spiced, buttery, and perfect with a cup of coffee or tea.

Pumpkin Pie Spiced Ginger Brew

The kids really wanted it but now they're not so sure. Tastes OK but has a funky smell. Not sure if we'll buy this again.

Pumpkin Ginger Hold the Cone!

Everyone must love this mini ice cream cones, since they were all out last time we went to TJ's. Both the cones and the pumpkin ice cream have a gingery kick to them, and the mini serving size is perfect. Hopefully they'll have more back in soon!

The Gourd Tree Pumpkin Cider

This hard cider is kind of like TJ's spiced cider for grownups. Brewed with pumpkin and spices, it has a strong ginger kick and a subtle pumpkin flavor. Not too sweet and refreshing.

Organic Pumpkin Toaster Pastries

Trader Joe's pumpkin-filled Pop-Tart knock-offs are better than we expected! Not too sweet like some of their other toaster pastries and tastes like it's filled with pumpkin pie filling. And they're organic so they must be good for you, right?

Pumpkin Chocolate Chunk Oatmeal Cookie Mix

This sounded really yummy but ended up being disappointing. They're way too sweet but also have kind of a bitter flavor. Won't be getting this again, unfortunately.
