Keep the kiddos busy! Here's out list of fun things to do with the kids for the week of September 7–12. We've broken it down day-by-day with suggestions for activities, outings, events, and more that you can use to help plan out your week.

Keep in mind that some of these activities require advance registration, so check the organizer's website before you attend. If you have something fun you'd like to share, please let us know and we'll consider it for next week's list!

  • Explore and hike at Rush Creek Open Space Preserve in Novato.
  • Reserve your spot for Power Play indoor gymnastics (for ages 1–2 years) at Cal Star Gymnastics in Novato. 9:30–10:30 am
  • Bring your egg shakers and instruments to jam along wirth children's entertainer Megan Schoenbohm at the Civic Center in San Rafael (next to the playground), 10:30–11 am.
  • Bring a blanket and join Mill Valley Librarian Lauren for outdoor storytime and songs, Wednesdays, 10:15 am, Amphitheater stage behind the Library.

Play, climb and explore San Anselmo's Memorial Park
