Studio 4 Art (S4A) is now offering art studio Memberships! Memberships are a way of being more involved in all that S4A has to offer. As a member you may drop in during open studio hours at your leisure and receive discounts on paint-it-yourself pottery, birthday parties, camps, and our monthly pizza party Fridays.
Studio 4 Art’s goal has always been to make art more accessible and was developed in an effort to give children an art experience that was not offered in schools. S4A finds that a creative outlet helps develop leadership through problem solving, self expression, and independent decision making- all lending to a thriving personal voice. This mission is implemented in the membership program to create a more affordable and convenient creative space for all artists toddler through teens. Studio 4 Art’s instructors each have passion in fine art and experience in child development to generate a nurturing educational environment.
After 12 years of being in the community, S4A has witnessed their students grow up and be accepted into prestigious art, architecture, biology, and design programs. Parents continue to reach out to Studio 4 Art, thanking them for helping to build the skills their child needed to achieve their goals.
With the membership, Studio 4 Art offers two tiers- a 5 hour per month family membership and an unlimited individual membership. Memberships can be used in both the Mill Valley Studio (ages 18mo. - 7yr) and the Novato Studio (ages 2 - Adult). With the family membership, the hours can be shared among anyone in your family. The unlimited membership is for a single user and can be used up to three hours per drop in. Both membership tiers share a 10% discount on everything Studio 4 Art offers.
When you come in to S4A, you will have many creative options to choose from. Studio 4 Art offers acrylic and watercolor painting, drawing in many mediums, relief-printmaking and screen printing, mosaics, hand sewing, collage, and mixed media. During open studio, Studio 4 Art sets up four different invitation stations, each with a unique project for you to explore with an instructor on hand to guide you. The stations are refreshed weekly, giving you many opportunities for new art adventures. Studio 4 Art open studio also offers ceramics and the pottery wheel. The morning open studio is geared for ages 2-6 while the afternoon open studio is designed for ages 4+. The art stations can all be scaffolded to meet the individuals abilities up to the age of 12.
