Help Support the Milo Foundation's Horse Rescue Program at Marin Pizza

Milo Horse Fund

Join the Milo Foundation for a birthday celebration and pizza dinner fundraiser at Marin Pizza in Corte Madera on Tuesday, August 14, from 7 to 9 pm. 10% of sales from the event will help to save horses rescued by the Milo Foundation's Starlyght's Dream Horse Rescue Program.

13 horses were recently rescued, some are AQHA/APHA registered, and all have received medical care before transportation to Milo’s sanctuary on July 15. Help is needed to create the infrastructure for horses and provide for their care, transportation, vet, farrier, hay/feed, maintenance, and to hire a new horse hand.

The Milo Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill organization providing an alternative for homeless pets in California. Milo provides community education, volunteer opportunities, adoption services, and a sanctuary for animals needing more time and space to have quality of life until the special homes they need can be found.

The Milo Foundation's sanctuary is located on 283 acres in Mendocino County and offers plenty of room for the animals to run and play. While the Milo Sanctuary houses primarily dogs and cats, it is also home to an increasing number of horses with the recent addition of the Starlyght's Dream Milo Horse Rescue program.

Marin Pizza offers organic dough and farm fresh ingredients sourced from local farms and ranches, with a thin bubbly light and crispy baked at 750° in a specialty oven from Italy. Yum!!
