Whether your child is beginning their educational journey or transitioning into a formal school setting, La Petite Ecole is the perfect place to start and build a strong foundation for future success. Starting at age 2, the curriculum gently prepares kids for an exciting bilingual journey into Preschool through play and guided activities.
As children grow and transition into maternelle (preschool), they enter a more structured yet equally dynamic stage of early childhood education. At this level, we continue to emphasize the development of language skills, socialization, and emotional growth, while also introducing more formal learning through play-based activities. The curriculum is designed to promote creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving in a supportive and interactive setting.
In our “I’m a big kid now” video series, you’ll get a sense of what a day in the life of our youngest students look like. In these short videos, they share their school life experience in the cutest way possible. They tell you what and how they learn, talk about their friends, and invite you to share their lunch, or even their naptime! These clips provide priceless insights into what’s happening in their young minds… and on the playground!
If your child is between the age of 1 and 3, come together and join us for our Happy Play classes on Tuesdays at our Sausalito campus! We’ll introduce your little one to the fun of French-English bilingualism with stories, songs, dance, and hands-on activities, while you get a sense of our learning environment.
