Join Your Local Police Department for National Night Out

Did you know that Tuesday, August 5, is National Night Out? One the first Tuesday in August everyone is invited to get out and join local law enforcement and public safety personnel and other first responders for block parties where you can learn about safety and crime prevention, and meet your neighbors. These family-friendly events are happening at locations throughout Marin County. All are free of charge.

Here's where you can find a National Night Out celebration in your community this Tuesday:

  • Mill Valley Police Department
    Depot Plaza, 5–7 pm

    Join the Mill Valley Police Department and local agencies for an evening filled with fun, food, and festivities at the Depot Plaza. Event details
  • Novato Police Department
    City administrative offices parking lot, 4–6 pm

    Novato's National Night Out celebration features meet and greets with police and fire personnel, vehicle and equipment displays, Otter Pops, giveaways, and more. Event details
  • Tiburon Police Department
    Zelinsky Park, 4–7 pm

    Meet and chat with members of the Tiburon Police Department, Tiburon Fire Protection District, and the Belvedere Police Department while enjoying great food and music, touring first responder vehicles, playing carnival games, and more! Event details
  • Marin County Sheriff's Office
    Rocky Graham Park, 850 Drake Avenue, Marin City, 5–7:30 pm
    Korean Presbyterian Church, 635 Adrian Way, San Rafael (Santa Venetia), 6:30 pm
    Bel Marin Keys Community Service District Bldg, 4 Montego Key, Novato, 5–7:30 pm
    Point Reyes Public Safety Building, 101 4th Street, Point Reyes Station, 4–8 pm
    The Marin County Sheriff's Office will hold four events at locations throughout Marin. Event details
