LUMA Ice is Petaluma’s signature winter experience - a festive ice rink and holiday destination that brings our community together. Now in its second year, the Petaluma Fairgrounds will be transformed from Dec. 10, 2025 through Jan. 6, 2026, into a hub of seasonal celebration with a real indoor ice skating rink, providing four full weeks of holiday magic!
Your visit to the Petaluma Fairgrounds will include a stroll through a twinkling winter wonderland, glowing with lights and joy for the whole family as you make your way to the ice rink. Adding to the festive atmosphere this year, the City of Petaluma is offering holiday bouncies for kids, tractor rides, and of course, the opportunity to pick up your tree at Mickelson's Tree Lot completing your winter decor! Even better, our team is ready to book your school field trip, holiday celebration, or winter birthday party experience!
Beer, wine, and snacks will be available for purchase every day, and on select Fridays and weekends, we’ll feature rotating food vendors and special activities—including our Howliday Pet Adoption & Resource Fair.
