Fall has arrived and there is so much for families to do. If you're trying to find that perfect fall family activity in the Bay Area, look no further! We've put together a list of our favorite must-do events for Marin families with kids of all ages, all of which take place in Marin and the Bay Area!
- Visit Half Moon Bay for Fall fun at Lemos Farm and Farmer John's Pumpkin Farm.
- Experience a one-of-a-kind live air show over the Bay with the Blue Angels at San Francisco Fleet Week, Friday–Sunday, October 7–13.
- Take the family on a (not so) spooky Halloween train ride.
- Marinwood's Halloween Harvest Festival features face painting, pumpkin decorating, games, and a bounce house, Friday, October 11, 5–6:30 pm.
- Take the kiddos on a Sonoma County fall farm tour at Weekend Along the Farm Trails, Saturday & Sunday, October 12 & 13, 10 am–4 pm.
- Experience life on the farm at one of Slide Ranch's Family Farm Days, October 12 & 26, November 2, 16 & 23.
- Novato Fire District's Annual Open House and pancake breakfast, Various stations in Novato, Sunday, October 13, breakfast 8 am, open house 8 am–noon.
- Celebrate Halloween at the Bay Area Discovery Museum's Goblin Jamboree, October 22–23 and 25–27.
- Dress in costume to Trunk or Treat and enjoy music and crafts at Mill Valley Community Center, Friday, October 25, 4–6 pm.
- Carve a pumpkin with rangers at Jeepers Jack O'Lanterns, Paradise Beach Park, Tiburon, Saturday, October 26, 11 am–1 pm.
- Bring your ghosts and goblins to the Not-So-Scary Halloween Magic Show, Novato City Hall, Saturday, October 26.
- Get lost in the corn mazes at Petaluma Pumpkin Patch or Santa Rosa Pumpkin Patch.
- Decorate a sugar skull at San Rafael's Dia de los Muertos celebration, Saturday, November 2.
- Work up an appetite for your Thanksgiving feast at the Marin Turkey Trot in Novato, Thursday, November 28.
