  • Sonoma Speed Festival
    Sonoma Raceway
    Friday & Saturday, 8 am–6 pm, Sunday, 8 am–5 pm

    Over 400 racers will take center stage for this invitational event. Some of the world’s finest racing machines will take to the track, some of which date as far back as pre-WWI. Featuring an incredible collection of race cars, including Bugatti, Lotus, Corvette, Ferrari, Jaguar, and Alfa Romeo. Tickets start at $75; kids 12 and under admitted free with paying adult.   • Music Time with Megan
    Sports Basement, Novato
    Friday, 9:30–10 am

    Bring the kiddos for live music, singing, dancing and playing instruments with popular children's musician Megan Schoenbohm. Cost is $10 per child, and siblings under 7 months are free.   • Parents Night Out
    Marinwood Community Center, San Rafael
    Friday, 5–10 pm

    Need an evening without the kids? Marinwood's Parents' Night Out gives you the opportunity to take a well-deserved break. Go out for a night on the town feeling confident that your child is safe and having a blast with their favorite camp counselors. This fun night features a variety of games like dodgeball, a toy room, arts and crafts, park time, and a movie at the end of the night. Don't worry about dinner as that's taken care of too!   • Family Fun Night–Chabad Jewish Center

    Friday, 6–8:30 pm

    All families are welcome to join a Family Shabbat geared for children 2–10 years. Welcome Shabbat with baking challah, a pre Shabbat guitar sing along with Jonathan Khersonsky (Zara's dad), candle lighting, Kiddush and kid friendly dinner.   • Friday Nights on Main: Neon Velvet

  • Music in the Park

    Friday, 6–8 pm

    Come down to Piper Park on Friday, May 31st from 6:00-8:00pm for a FREE concert in the Park. Sponsored by Larkspur Community Foundation, this family friendly event will feature live music by local band "The Treble Makers". Set in the newly renovated picnic area, this is the perfect opportunity to get together with friends and neighbors for a good time. Rent tables or bring your lawn chairs and blankets.   • MPOMC Annual Consignment Sale for Children & Maternity

    Marin's largest garage sale for babies and kids has clothes for pregnant moms, babies and children up to age six. Other items include toys, baby equipment, and furniture.This sale has the reputation for providing clean, high quality items at excellent prices. Designer clothes racks too. Admission $1 per person; free for children 12 and under. They offer an early-bird admission at 7:45 am for $15 per family.     Celebrate the Hiller Aviation Museum’s 21st Anniversary at the Biggest Little Air Show. This year’s show will match a thrilling aerobatic performance by airshow pilot Rich Perkins in the Yak-54 Russian Thunder along with demonstrations of exceptional radio controlled models. San Carlos Airport will close to regular traffic from 10:30 am to noon to allow realistic jet- and propeller-powered model aircraft to roll down the runway and into the sky to take their part in a unique aerial extravaganza including aerobatic helicopters, drones, quadrotors and more!   • KidStage: Crazy for You

    This musical comedy is a fast-paced and light-hearted collection of the most beloved tunes of George and Ira Gershwin, including “They Can’t Take That Away From Me”, “I’ve Got Rhythm”, and the romantic “Someone To Watch Over Me”. Crazy For You is a truly delightful homage to the beloved, optimistic musicals of the 1930s: a world of showgirls and cowboys, in which a city boy and a country girl reconcile their differences, fall in love, and save a theater, the old-fashioned way.     Families are welcome to stop by and join a Discovery Center naturalist for fun, hands-on activities with a different theme each month. I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Learn about the phases of matter as we turn liquid ingredients into a solid using salt, ice, and our hands. Participants will get to enjoy a yummy homemade ice cream treat.   • 2019 Night of Sparkle

    The 2019 Night to Sparkle includes a shopping event focusing on woman-owned businesses selling their items and a fashion show showcasing the vendors. Come eat, drink and shop until you drop!   • House of RoCo Onstage and ALICE

    “Alice” is a modern twist on the classic story of Alice in Wonderland. The dancers featured are selected modern, jazz, ballet, hip-hop and break classes from RoCo’s upper level youth programs in Mill Valley and Fairfax. The first half of the evening Is RoCo Dance Onstage. RDO is packed with high energy three-minute dances showcasing RoCo’s youth program. “Alice” follows intermission each night.   • Movies in Creek Park: Cars

    Campers are invited to a campfire program exploring the diverse ecosystems of Spring Lake.   • Civic Center Farmers' Market

    There's lots of organically grown produce, breads, eggs, and fresh cut flowers, as well as live music, bounce houses, and more. This farmers' market is a great one to take the kids to. It’s located in the main Civic Center parking lot. Event details.
  • Learn to Ride
    Stafford Lake Bike Park, Novato
    Sunday, 9–11 am

    Learn to ride pump tracks and rollers with a ranger at the Stafford Lake Bike Park. This event is ideal for ages 5 and up though riders of all ages are welcome. All skill levels are welcome and no experience is necessary. Dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Don’t forget to bring your bike, helmet, and pads. Park entrance is waived for participants.   • Children's Program at Green Gulch
    Green Gulch Farm Zen Center, Muir Beach

    We'll be Planting the Three Sisters—Corn, Beans, and Squash—in the Children’s Garden. While parents are welcome to stay inside for the dharma talk, children are invited outside to decorate the birthday pagoda with flowers from the farm. After the lecture, we'll share a formal procession with children joining their parents to bathe the baby Buddha in sweet tea, a long-standing Green Gulch tradition. Presidio Picnic features a rotating lineup of 30+ international mobile food creators, ​free yoga class, free Presidio Y Bike learn to ride lessons for kids on the first Sunday of the month, a cultural dance program every 4th Sunday, and more.
