- Bring the kids to the Kiddo! Family Carnival in Mill Valley for rides, games, food, and more. Friday–Monday, times vary depending on day.
- Pick your own organic cherries at Dwelley Family Farms in Brentwood (TKs Ranch location), Saturday–Monday, 8:30 am–4 pm.
- Ride rare and historic train cars and streetcars at the Western Railway Museum's Museum Showcase Weekend, Saturday & Sunday, 10:30 am–5 pm.
- Join Alice, the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, and others on a hiking theater adventure to WanderLand in Berkeley, Saturday & Sunday, 10:30 am–12:30 pm.
- Splash and play at the water park at Spring Lake Regional Park in Santa Rosa, Saturday–Monday, 3 sessions: 10:30 am–12:30 pm, 1–3 pm, 3:30–5:30 pm.
- Celebrate and sample Greek culture at the annual Marin Greek Festival in Novato, Saturday, 11 am–9 pm and Sunday, 11 am–8 pm.

- Take a sunset tour of Point Bonita Lighthouse in the Marin Headlands, Friday, 6–7:30 pm.
Saturday, May 25
- Swim at the Hamilton Community Pool in Novato on its opening day, Saturday, 12–6 pm.
- Dance the day away with DJs and food trucks at Presidio Tunnel Tops in San Francisco, Saturday, 11 am–3 pm.
- Come to Mill Valley Library for books, rhymes, and stories in the Children's Room, Saturday, 3–3:30 pm.

- San Francisco's Carnaval Grand Parade takes place in the Mission District, Sunday, 9:30 am–2 pm.

- Learn about saving species at the Marine Mammal Center's Marine Science Sunday, noon & 2 pm.
Monday, May 27 (Memorial Day)
- Start off Memorial Day with a volunteer firefighters' pancake breakfast in front of Mill Valley City Hall. Monday, 7–11 am.
- Honor Marin's fallen veterans at a Memorial Day ceremony at Marin Center in San Rafael, Monday, 9:30–11:30 am
- Visit the Charles M. Schulz Museum with little ones ages 1–5 on Museum Monday, 10 am–noon.
- The pool at McNears Beach in San Rafael opens for the season, Monday, 10:30 am–5 pm.
- Observe Memorial Day with an old-school parade in downtown Mill Valley. Monday, 10:30 am.
- Visit the Presidio for a Memorial Day commemoration at San Francisco National Cemetery, Monday, 10:30–11:30 am.
- Come to Mill Valley Community Center for a carnival and Day on the Green with live music and food for sale, Monday, noon–5 pm.
