    All children love playing with their food, and the Bay Area Discovery Museum’s newest traveling exhibit is a chance for them to do just that – without the mess!   • Music Time with Megan

  • Moms Support Group

    This free, ongoing group is an opportunity for moms and babies to get together in a relaxed environment to express the joys and concerns of being a new mother.   • Parents Night Out

    Bring your little villager dressed in PJs or other comfy clothes. Our evening will start out with a super fun craft followed by a pizza party, snacks, and a movie showing!   • Parents Night Out

    Marinwood's Parents' Night Out gives you the opportunity to take a well-deserved break. Kids need to be at least 2 but less than 11 years old. Go out for a night on the town feeling confident that your child is safe and having a blast with their favorite camp counselors.     Join Marin County Parks and Marin Municipal Water District for our annual Bald Hill Broom Bust! Removing invasive broom gives native plants and trees. All skill levels are welcome, and no previous experience is necessary. All ages are welcome; anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a supervising adult. Dress in layers you can get dirty, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water. Please bring gloves if you have them. RSVP's are appreciated but not required.   • Rainbow Tissue Paper Heart Craft

  • Learn to Saltwater Fish
    Paradise Beach Park, Tiburon

    Come spend the morning learning the basics of saltwater fishing at Paradise Beach Park. A limited amount of poles will be available on a first come, first-served basis. A valid California fishing license is required when fishing from the shore, not from the pier. All skill levels are welcome, and no experience is necessary. Dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes.   • Chinatown Community Street Fair

    Now in its 30th year, the Chinese Community Street Fair will be held on the weekend of the Southwest Airlines Chinese New Year Parade. Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of San Francisco’s Chinatown during one of the community’s most exciting times of the year. You will find over 120 booths and concessions making this a shopper’s paradise. The SF Chinese Chamber of Commerce has planned activities and entertainment for all ages. Enjoy Chinese folk dancing, opera, drumming and much more at the entertainment stage on Washington St. below Grant Ave. Make sure to get a family photo with the giant puppets, dragon and other memorable artifacts from the Parade!   • Presidio Explorer Backpacks

    Explorer Backpacks turn your Presidio visit into a game-like adventure. Each backpack contains an adventure map and challenge cards that guide you to fun discoveries—unique places, hidden spots, wild creatures, and more—all around the park. It's also packed with tools like a magnifying glass, binoculars, and a compass to help you along the way. There are now two versions available: one for kids and one for teens and grown-ups.To check out a free backpack, drop in to the Presidio Visitor Center (open daily from 10 am to 5 pm).   • Southwest Airlines Chinese New Year Festival and Parade
    Downtown San Francisco
    Saturday, 6–8 pm

    Named one of the top ten Parades in the world, the Southwest Airlines Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco is one of the few remaining night illuminated parades in the country and one of the largest Asian cultural celebrations outside Asia. A San Francisco tradition since just after the Gold Rush, the parade continues to delight and entertain the many hundreds of thousands of people that come to watch it on the street or tune in to watch it on television on KTVU Fox 2 or KTSF Channel 26.
