Marin Weekend Family Fun for March 3–5

- Take a family hike to the Fairway Waterfall (AKA Buck Gulch Falls) in Novato.
- Browse for bargains at the Just Between Friends kids' consignment sale at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, various times, Friday–Sunday.
- Marvel at the spectacular animal lanterns of Glowfari at the Oakland Zoo, Friday & Saturday, 5–9 pm. (Final day is on Saturday!)
- Bay Area Children's Theatre presents the musical play The Day You Begin in downtown Berkeley, Saturday & Sunday, 10:30 am & 1:30 pm.
- Catch a screening of Pixar's Brave in honor of International Women's Day at the Walt Disney Family Museum in the Presidio, Saturday & Sunday, 2 pm.
Friday, March 3
- Join Iris at Fairfax Library for an outdoor family storytime, Friday, 10–10:45 am.
- Drop in and get active at GymWorld's toddler open gym, Friday, 10:30 am–12:30 pm.
- Join astronomers at Chabot Space & Science Center in Oakland for a free telescope viewing, Friday, 7:30–10:30 pm.

- Visit the de Young and Legion of Honor museums for free (with proof of Bay Area residency), Saturday, 9:30 am–5:15 pm
- Sing along at an interactive concert with multi-instrumentalist and master musician Enzo Garcia in Mill Valley, Saturday, 10–11 am.
- Drop in at the Randall Museum in San Francisco for art, science, and live animal presentations, Saturday, 10 am–5 pm.
- Enjoy a musical journey for Women of the World Day at the Golden Gate Park Bandshell, Saturday, noon–4 pm.
- Pick your own free bunch of tulips for International Women's Day at Union Square in San Francisco, Saturday, 1–4:30 pm.
- Celebrate Purim on Saturday at the Osher Marin JCC with two parties: an afternoon event for little ones ages 0–4 at 4 pm and a family Purim party at 6 pm.

- Shop for fresh produce and handcrafted local foods at the Marin Civic Center Farmers Market, Sunday, 8 am–1 pm.
- Climb aboard historic aircraft and enjoy music, demonstrations, and activities at Oakland Aviation Museum's Open Cockpit Day, Sunday, 10 am–4 pm.
- Stretch and get mindful with Mart Littles Yoga and Mindfulness at Marin Country Mart in Larkspur, Sunday, 10:30–11:15 am
- Get hands-on with art at Marin MOCA's free family day, Sunday, 11 am–3 pm.
- Enjoy Nowruz (Persian New Year) storytelling and hands-on art activities at the Asian Art Museum's Free Family Fun Day, Sunday, 11 am–2:30 pm
