- Take a train ride to the pumpkin patch for fall fun at the Western Railway Museum in Suisun City, Saturday & Sunday, 9:30 am–4:30 pm.
- Enjoy the Boo at the Zoo family-friendly Halloween event with a spooky animal-themed scavenger hunt, Oakland Zoo, Friday–Sunday, 10 am–4 pm.

Friday, October 25
- Bring the little ones to Itsy Bitsy Story Storytime for songs, rhymes and stories, Larkspur Library, 10 am.
- Enjoy a trunk-or-treat and spooky Halloween fun at the Mill Valley Community Center, Friday, 4–6 pm.
- Bring the kiddos in costume and trick-or-treat on the Halloween Treat Walk at the San Rafael Community Center, Friday, 4–6 pm.
- Trick-or-treat in downtown San Anselmo at the Goblins' BOOtacular, Friday, 5–7 pm.
- Bring the kiddos to see Pixar's Coco (the last movie of the season!) for free outdoors at Marin Country Mart, Friday, 6 pm.
- Join us for a spooktacular, family-friendly night of lights out headlamp climbing at Gravity Vault Marin, Friday, 6–9:30 pm.
- Get in the Halloween spirit and join Park Rangers for a family-friendly, spooky movie night at Stafford Lake, Novato, 7:30–10 pm. Register online.

Saturday, October 26
- Mike Della Penna performs his Not-so-scary Halloween Magic Show at Novato City Hall, Saturday, 2 time slots: 10 am or 11:30 am.
- Come carve your own spooky Jack-O-Lantern for Halloween with the Park Rangers, Paradise Beach Park, Tiburon, 11 am–1 pm. Sign-up here.
- Head to downtown Novato for trick-or-treating at local businesses, Saturday, 11 am–2 pm.
- Put on your costume (and pets too) for a Halloween bash at Bon Air Center in Greenbrae, Saturday, 11 am–2 pm.
- Paint a spooky jack-o-lantern for Halloween at McInnis Park in San Rafael, Saturday, 1–3 pm.
- Trick-or-treat and pet costume contest at businesses up and down Fourth Street in downtown San Rafael, Saturday, 1–3 pm.
- Join the San Francisco Symphony for a special Music for Families concert at Davies Symphony Hall, Saturday, 2 pm.
- Come in costume to the Sonoma Barracks for a spooky campfire program, Saturday, 5:30–7 pm.

- Shop for fresh produce and locally made foods and enjoy live music at the Marin Civic Center farmer's market in San Rafael, Sunday, 8 am–1 pm.
- Visit the Charles M. Schulz Museum for free admission, a screening of It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (every 30 mins), and fun activities, Sunday, 10 am–5 pm.
- Celebrate animals with activities, tours, and more at the UC Botanical Garden in Berkeley (non-scary animal costumes encouraged), Sunday, 10 am–2 pm.
