Here's our weekly list of 15 fun things to do with the kids this week, September 28–October 4. From magic shows and museums to drive-in movies and pumpkin patches, there's something for everyone.

Keep in mind that some of these activities require advance registration or fees, so check the organizer's website before you attend. If you have something fun you'd like to share, please let us know and we'll consider it for next week's list!

  1. Join Magician Mike Della Penna and friends for an online virtual magic and variety show. Monday, September 28, 6–6:30 pm
  2. Visit the Pronzini Pumpkin Patch in Petaluma for fall family fun. Open daily.
  3. Sing and dance with family entertainer Megan Schoenbohm for live and interative music 7 days a week at 9 am.
  4. Experience underwater life at Aquarium of the Bay at Pier 39. (Advance timed tickets required). Open daily, 11 am–6 pm.
  5. Make your reservations to visit Muir Woods National Monument without the tourist crowds. Open daily, 9 am–6 pm.
  6. Bake a loaf of apple walnut bread for a healthy and delicious fall treat.
  7. Join the Walt Disney Family Museum for fascinating stories and facts about Walt Disney on International Podcast Day. Wednesday, September 30, noon–5 pm
  8. Visit Peter Pumpkin Patch on a real working farm in Petaluma. Open daily starting Thursday, October 1.
  9. This year is the 25th anniversary of the Nicasio Valley Pumpkin Patch! Come visit for pumpkins and picnics. Open daily starting Thursday, October 1.
  10. Enjoy songs and great kids' books with Storytime from Home with Mill Valley children's librarian Lauren. New stories every Thursday!
  11. Bonjour! Join Emilia for virtual French storytime for ages 2–5 from Belvedere Tiburon Library. Friday, October 2, 8 am
  12. The Petaluma Drive-in Movie presents the Jumanji: The Next Level at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds. Friday, October 2, 7:30 pm
  13. Celebrate your furry friends at the Lark Drive-In's Bow Wow Film Festival. Saturday, October 3, 7:30 pm
  14. Get hands-on with art at Marin MOCA's Free Family Day. Create art outdoors at their campus in Novato! Sunday, October 4, 11 am–3 pm
  15. Visit the newly reopened SFMOMA during Free Community Days. (Advance tickets are a must!) Starting Sunday, October 4.
