Big Art Weekend at the Bay Area Discovery Museum
On Saturday and Sunday, March 22 and 23, 2025, roll up your sleeves and head to the Bay Area Discovery Museum, which will become a vibrant art studio for Big Art Weekend! Immerse yourself in art and discover opportunities to get creative around every corner! All activities included in admission.
Advance tickets are highly recommended and are on sale now. Admission is free and advance tickets are not required for Bay Area Discovery Museum members. Members also get early entry at 9 am! Big Art Weekend ticket prices are $25 for adults and children ages 1–17, $15 for babies 6–11 months, $23 for seniors 65+, and $3 for EBT cardholders.
At Big Art Weekend kids can:
- Create Scratch Magic with guest artist Simone Lassar
- Hand-dye fabrics with Silk Painting
- Spray, splash, and make masterpieces with Spray Play
- Add to a giant community sculpture in Weaving Rainbow
- Build whimsical Fairy Homes with Asé Arts
- And more!
Big Art Weekend hours are 10 am to 4 pm, with a member-only hour from 9 to 10 am. The Bay Area Discovery Museum is located in Fort Baker at 557 McReynolds Road in Sausalito CA 94965, at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge.
