U-Pick Apples at Gold Ridge Organic Farms in Sebastopol
When August rolls around that means it's time to be on the lookout for apple u-pick! Early varieties will be ripe and reading for picking soon, and you can head to Gold Ridge Organic Farms in Sebastopol to pick your own starting Saturday, August 15!
This sprawling 88-cacre farm west of Sebastopol is renowned for their olive oil and heirloom apples, and they offer u-pick events where you can head out to the orchard and pick organic Honeycrisp and Fuji apples. While you're there, try some treats like apple cider slushies, apple scones, and apple crisp or climb on board the signature Apple Trolley for a fun and educational tour of the farm.
The farm store will also be open, selling olive oil, heirloom apples, and other products. Did we mention it's also a great place for a family photo op? We participated last year and it was a lot of fun!
2026 apple u-pick at Gold Ridge Organic Farms takes place on Saturday, August 15, 22, and 29 and September 5 and 12, and 26. U-pick admission is $8 for adults and $3 for children; advance registration is required. U-pick time slots are at every 15 minutes from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. U-pick apples cost $4 per pound and admission includes your own canvas apple picking bag!
