Keep the kiddos busy! Here's out list of fun things to do with the kids for the week of July 26–August 1. We've broken it down day-by-day with suggestions for activities, outings, events, and more that you can use to help plan out your week.
Keep in mind that some of these activities require advance registration, so check the organizer's website before you attend. If you have something fun you'd like to share, please let us know and we'll consider it for next week's list!
Monday, July 26

Magician Brian Scott brings you a show full of magic and laughs online, Tiburon Belvedere Library.

Go on an underwater adventure at Aquarium of the Bay at Pier 39. Open daily, 11 am–6 pm.
- Have a family pizza night in your kitchen.
Tuesday, July 27
- Take a train ride and visit the animals at Sonoma TrainTown, Monday–Sunday, 10 am–4 pm.
- Make your own fun and easy playdough.
- Take the kiddos for a family swim at the Redwood High School Pool in Larkspur. Monday–Thursday, 1 pm. $10 drop-in fee.
Wednesday, June 28
- See the family movie Minions at either the Century Rowland Plaza or Northgate 15, 9:30 am.
- Join the Exploratorium for Storytime Science for Kids, the wind, Wednesday, 1 pm.
- Bring your animal friends to the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa for a pet caricature from cartoonist Joe Wos. 2–5 pm
- Meet some of WildCare's animal ambassadors via Zoom presented by the Larkspur Library. 4–5 pm
Explore Mt. Burdell in Novato.
Thursday, July 29
- Explore Novato's Mt. Burdell on a family hike.
- Visit Green String Farm in Petaluma for fresh summer produce, including peaches and nectarines.
- Enjoy outdoor story time on the Novato Library's back lawn. For ages 0–5, 10:30–11 am.
- See the San Rafael Pacifics take on the Monterey Amberjacks at San Rafael's Albert Park. 6:30 pm
Friday, July 30
- Red Panda Acrobats bring their jaw-dropping feats to the free Yerba Buena Children's Garden series in San Francisco. Friday, 11 am & 12:15 pm.
- Visit Marin Country Mart in Larkspur for Movie Nights at the Mart: Despicable Me, 6 pm.
- Celebrate Friday Night on Main in downtown Tiburon with a free live concert with Jonathan Poretz. 5–6:30 pm
- Grab your low chairs or blankets as the free Jazz and Blues by the Bay presents Dirty Cello at Gabrielson Park in Sausalito. 6:30 pm

Saturday, July 31
- Bring the kiddos for live Music Time with Megan at the Marin Country Mart this Saturday, 9:30–10:30 am.
- Celebrate Harry Potter's birthday with fun, games, art, and costumes at the Fairfax Library. 2–4 pm
- Novato's Hot Amphitheater Nights returns with the Peelers: top 40 mashups and medleys. Free! 5–7 pm
- The Lark Drive In screens Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again at the Village in Corte Madera. 8:50 pm
Sunday, August 1
- Shop for fresh produce at Sunday's Civic Center Marin Farmers Market, 8 am–1 pm.
- Get hands-on with art at Marin MoCA's Free Family Day. 11 am–3 pm
- Shop local and enjoy live summer jazz, great food, and kids' activities at Cavallo Point in Sausalito. 11 am–2 pm
- Enjoy a free live concert in downtown Corte Madera with the Lucky Losers. 5–6:30 pm
