Keep the kiddos busy! Here's out list of fun things to do with the kids for the week of October 11–17. We've broken it down day-by-day with suggestions for activities, outings, events, and more that you can use to help plan out your week.

Keep in mind that some of these activities require advance registration, so check the organizer's website before you attend. If you have something fun you'd like to share, please let us know and we'll consider it for next week's list!

Explore the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park

Wednesday, October 13

  • Visit Muelrath Ranches Pumpkin Patch near Santa Rosa for old fashioned fall fun for the family on a real working farm. Great for the littles. Open daily, 10 am–6 pm.
  • Stroll through the amazing Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. Make sure to have some tea and cookies, too! Opens at 9 am.
  • Bring your egg shakers & instruments to jam along with children's entertainer Megan Schoenbohm, Civic Center, San Rafael (next to the playground), 10:30–11 am.
  • Join Vanessa of the Larkspur Library for live online storytime, Wednesdays & Fridays, 11:30 am.

Visti the animals and pick a pumpkin off the vine at Peter Pumpkin Patch in Petaluma.
