- Come to downtown San Anselmo for live outdoor music with Live on the Avenue, Friday & Saturday, 6–8:30 pm.
- Swim and splash at the Hamilton Pool in Novato, Friday, 5–7 pm, Saturday–Monday, 12–6 pm.

Friday, August 29
- Bring the little ones to Pop-Up Storytime at Hauke Park in Mill Valley, 10:15–10:45 am.
- Bring the kiddos to see The Fox and the Hound for free at Movie Night at the Mart, Larkspur Landing, Friday, 6 pm.
- The West End Block Party in Downtown San Rafael returns with music and community spirit, Friday, 6–9 pm.
