- Cut down the perfect Christmas tree at a local tree farm.
- Go skating at Union Square's holiday ice rink in San Francisco, Friday–Sunday, 10 am–11 pm.
- Enjoy music, dancing, and holiday cheer at Broadway Holiday at Hanna Center in Sonoma, Friday, 7:30 pm; Saturday & Sunday, 2 & 7:30 pm.
- Skate on the iceless skating rink at the Bay Area Discovery Museum. Saturday & Sunday, 9 am–4 pm.
- Visit Victorian London at the Great Dickens Christmas Fair at the Cow Palace, Saturday & Sunday, 10 am–6 pm.
Friday, December 1
- Soul4Kidz is back at Robin Sweeny Park in Sausalito, Friday, 11 am–noon.
- Take a ride on the Santa Train at the Western Railway Museum in Suisun City, Friday, noon–3 pm.
- Join Marin County Parks for an evening game of wiffleball at McInnis Park, Friday, 4:30–6:30 pm.

- Shop for unique gifts at the Holiday Craft Fair at Mill Valley Community Center, Saturday, 10 am–4 pm.
- Shop for handmade crafts, enjoy authentic German food, and visit Santa at Petaluma's Christkindlmarkt Holiday Market and Crafts Fair, Saturday, 10 am–3 pm.
- Bring the whole family to the Fratello Marionettes' North Pole Review, a fun filled marionette puppet show at Larkspur Library, Saturday, 10:30–11 am.
- Santa arrives by fire truck for free photos and visits at Bon Air Center in Greenbrae, Saturday, noon–3 pm.
- Children with disabilities and their families can meet Santa at the Sensitive Santa Sighting in Petaluma, Saturday, 2–5 pm (RSVP required).
- Bring the family to this year's WinterFest and Pixie Park Bake Sale, Marin Art and Garden Center, 3–6 pm.
- Gather in Imagination Park for San Anselmo's holiday tree lighting, Saturday, 4 pm.
- Bring the family to Novato's holiday tree lighting for holiday performances, treats, children's activities, and more, Saturday, 4–7:30 pm.
- Experience the lighting of the Snowmen and Christmas tree at Cornerstone Sonoma, Saturday 4–7 pm.
Sunday, December 3
