- Fairyland’s Lunar New Year celebrations kick off the year of the Horse with lively festivities, Saturday–Sunday, 10 am–4 pm.
- Get ready for the big game with the Super Bowl LX Experience at Moscone Center in San Francisco, Friday, 3–10 pm & Saturday, 10 am–10 pm.
- Head out to Point Reyes National Seashore for whale and elephant seal watching, Saturday & Sunday, 10 am–4 pm.
- Last Weekend! Bring the kiddos for iceless skating at the Bay Area Discovery Museum, Sausalito, Friday–Sunday, 10 am–4 pm.
Friday, February 6
- Sing and stomp with musician Emily Bonn at the San Anselmo Library, Friday, 10:30–11 am.
- Bring the kiddos for Little Library Storytime & Valentine's Day Crafts at St. Francis Preschool in Novato, 12 pm, open to all.
- Craft a Valentine for someone you love at Mill Valley Library, Friday, 3–4:30 pm.

- Get a head start on Valentine's Day with an art and science extravaganza at the Randall Museum in San Francisco, Saturday, 10:30 am–4 pm.
- Explore the seasonal wetlands at Sonoma State Historic Park, Saturday, 11 am.

- Bring the kiddos for the the grand opening of the Sorting Station, the newest exhibit at Childrens's Museum of Sonoma County, Sunday 10 am.
- Valentine’s Day cupcake decorating workshop—perfect for kids, families, and cupcake lovers of all ages, MA&GC, Ross, 10, 11am and noon.
- Make a Valentine's Day glowing lantern at McNears Beach Park in San Rafael, Sunday, 11:30 am–1 pm.
- Learn about marine mammal babies at the Marine Mammal Center's Marine Science Sunday, noon & 2 pm (advance reservations required).
