- Transcendence Theatre Company returns to Jack London State Park with Let's Dance, Friday–Sunday, 7:30 pm.
- Check out the new interactive art installation, Los Trompos, at the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito. Open Saturday & Sunday, 9 am–4 pm.
- Visit the Pacific Coast Air Museum for Open Cockpit Weekend and check out the museum's AV-8C Harrier jet. Saturday & Sunday, 10 am–4 pm.
- The Novato Festival of Art, Wine & Music offers live music, wine and craft beers, and vendor booths. Saturday, 11 am–7 pm & Sunday, 11 am–6 pm.

Friday, June 17
- Bring the little ones to Pop-Up Storytime in the Park, Boyle Park in Mill Valley, 10:15–10:45 am.
- Enjoy a free performance from RhythmALLogy at Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco, 2 shows: 11 am & 12:15 pm.
- Drop in and make some art at the Berkeley Art Museum (free for kids under 18), Friday, 2 pm.
- San Rafael's West End hosts a block party with live music by the John Varn Quartet, Friday 6–10 pm.
- The Alpha Rhythm Kings perform at the free Jazz & Blues by the Bay series in Sausalito's Gabrielson Park, Friday, 6:30–8 pm.
- See Disney's original Peter Pan for free outdoors at Marin Country Mart, Friday, 6 pm.
- Petaluma's Movies in the Park series returns with Moana, Friday, 8:30 pm.

Saturday, June 18
- Take a creekside nature hike at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park in Kenwood, Saturday, 10 am.
- Check out the free Tiburon Classic Car Show at Shoreline Park on Saturday, 11 am–4 pm.
- Enjoy a campfire and marshmallow roast at the historic Sonoma Barracks, Saturday, 7 pm.
- The Lark Drive-In is back with a summer of fun, family-friendly outdoor movies! This Saturday: The Sandlot, 9 pm.
Sunday, June 19
- Pack a picnic and celebrate Dad's day outdoors at one of the many great picnic spots in and around Marin and Sonoma County.
