All Weekend
- Plan a family outing for mom at one of the many Marin County beaches.
- Pack a picnic and celebrate Mom's day outdoors at one of the many great picnic spots in and around Marin and Sonoma County.
- Experience the work of Marin's artistic community at the 31st annual Marin Open Studios, Saturday & Sunday, all day.
- Experience the 2024 Mill Valley Music festival, a two-day celebration of art and music at Friends Field adjacent to the community center, Saturday & Sunday, 12:30–6 pm.
Friday, May 10
- Bring the little ones to Pop-Up Storytime in Hauke Park, Mill Valley, 10:15 am.
- Sing and stomp with with musician Emily Bonn at the Town Plaza in San Anselmo, Friday, 10:30 am–11 am.
- Take a wildflower hike with the kiddos in Marin and marvel at the bounty of colorful spring blooms!
Saturday, May 11
- Learn all about birds and native plants at Rodeo Lagoon in the Marin Headlands, Saturday, 10 am–2 pm.
- Bring the little ones to plant a posy for mom at the Marin Country Mart (between Poppy Store and Toy Crazy) in Larkspur, Saturday, 10 am–1 pm.
- Bring the family to the First Annual Garden Fair at the MLK Neveda Campus in Sausalito, Saturday, 10 am–2 pm.
- Celebrate Taiwanese culture in San Francisco's Union Square, Saturday, 10 am–4 pm.
- Come join the fun and design a painted flowerpot at the free Goodie’s Kids Club May Workshop for kids 12 and under, Saturday, 12:30–2 pm. (RSVP by May 10).
- Come hang out at San Francisco’s newest green space and get to know China Basin through rock climbing, music, games, food trucks, and more! Saturday, 11 am–3 pm.

- Browse for treasures at the Outdoor Antique French Market in San Rafael, Sunday, 9 am–3 pm.
- Hike to West Point Inn on Mt. Tam for a Mother's Day pancake breakfast, Sunday, 9 am–1 pm.
- Free admission for Mothers and Grandmothers at the Children's Museum of Sonoma County, Sunday, 9 am–4 pm.
- Enjoy Mother's Day at Garden Valley Ranch in Petaluma, picnic and stroll amongst their fields of roses, Sunday, 10 am–2 pm. Reservations required.
- Celebrate Mother's Day with a bilingual "pay what you will" day at the Exploratorium, Sunday, 10 am–5 pm.
