- Mickelson Pumpkin Patch has a huge pumpkin field and attractions like a hay maze, games, tractor rides, and farm animals. Friday & Saturday 9 am–10 pm, Sunday 9 am–8 pm.
- Pick the perfect pumpkin and get lost in the corn maze at Petaluma Pumpkin Patch, Friday & Saturday, 10 am–10 pm and Sunday, 10 am–6 pm.
- Have a whale of a good time at the Pacifica Fog Fest, Saturday & Sunday, 10 am–6 pm.
- Celebrate autumn in a tent by the sea at Slide Ranch's Fall Harvest Family Campout, Friday, 3 pm–Sunday, 1 pm.
- Come stroll, shop, dine, and dance on San Anselmo Avenue, with live music in Creek Park, Friday & Saturday, 6–8:30 pm.
- Pick a pumpkin, brave the Haunted Village, visit the farm animals at Pronzini Farms Pumpkin Patch, 10 am–7 pm.
- Shop and enjoy live entertainment Halloween at TreasureFest on Treasure Island, Saturday & Sunday, 11 am–5 pm.
Friday, September 27
- Come to Hauke Park in Mill Valley for a pop-up storytime, Friday, 10:15 am.
- Learn all about paper at a junior ranger program with Ranger Kourtney at Fairfax Library, Friday, 3:30–4:30 pm.
- Bring the kiddos to see the classic movie Charlotte's Web for free outdoors at Marin Country Mart, Friday, 6 pm.
- The West End Block Party in Downtown San Rafael returns with music and community spirit, Friday, 6–9 pm.
Saturday, September 28
- Visit Muir Woods for free in honor of National Public Lands Day, Saturday, 8 am–6 pm.
- The Santa Rosa Pumpkin Patch opens this Saturday, with a huge pumpkin field, games, rides, a giant corn maze, an Oktoberfest celebration and more, 9 am–10 pm.
- Novato's Grossi Family Farm pumpkin patch opens for the season on Saturday with 4 acres of pumpkins, farm animals, hay maze, and more, 10 am–5:30 pm.
- Yerba Buena Gardens becomes an outdoor dance studio on YBG Dance Day, Saturday, 10 am–3 pm.
- Enjoy food, music, arts and crafts and the blessing of the grapes at the 127th Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival in Sonoma, Saturday, 10 am–5 pm.
- Muelrath Ranches Pumpkin Patch in Santa Rosa opens for the Halloween season on Saturday, 10 am–6 pm.
- Celebrate the Autumn Moon in the Richmond District with performances, traditional arts and crafts, and a dragon costume contest, Saturday, 11 am–3 pm
- See the movie IF on the lawn at Green Music Center at Sonoma State University, Saturday, 5 pm.
Sunday, September 29
- Shop for fresh produce and locally made foods and enjoy live music at the Marin Civic Center farmer's market in San Rafael, Sunday, 8 am–1 pm.
- Join the Tiburon Challenger tennis tournament for a free kids' clinic at the Tiburon Peninsula Club, Sunday 9–10:30 am.
- Celebrate Oktoberfest at Marin Country Mart with a kids' pretzel craft and authentic German food from Suppenküche, Sunday, 11 am–6 pm.
- Support Mill Valley's Annual Community Block Party benefiting KIDDO! Activities include: fashion show, beer garden, food, and kids zone. Sunday, 1–5:30 pm at Depot Plaza, Mill Valley.
