Mimi the Sardine Opens Corte Madera Retail Store
Mimi the Sardine’s line of earth-friendly, practical, and fun kids' eating accessories—perfect to pack in back-to-school lunch boxes—are now available in a new Corte Madera retail store that opens Tuesday, August 9, 2011.
Celebrate their grand opening with a month of 20% discounts on their entire line, including lunchbugs, spillmats, bibs, aprons, and backpacks. Also check out their Mimi Home collection of acrylic-coated linen/cotton-blend tablecloths that offer easy care with a focus on elegance and Scandinavian design.
Mimi the Sardine's cotton fabrics are designed and produced in Sweden, and their products are locally manufactured. Their fabrics are spill-resistant, machine-washable, meet the Oeko-Tex 100 Standard, and are made without harmful chemicals.
The new store is housed in a historic Corte Madera building over a century old. Stop by with the kids on the store's Tuesday, August 9, opening day, where local entertainment favorite Miss Marilyn will be blowing balloons and painting faces between noon and 2 pm.
You'll also find products from Klean Kanteen, Lunchbots, and Marin's own Fabkins in stock—all perfect for back-to-school, so make sure you stop by before summer vacation is over.
The new Mimi the Sardine store is located at 305 Montecito Avenue, near Old Corte Madera Square. The store is open from 10 am to 5:30 pm. Call 415-924-222 or visit www.mimithesardine.com for more information.
