All Weekend
- Check out the new interactive art installation, Los Trompos, at the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito. Open Saturday and Sunday, 9 am–4 pm. (Exhibit opens Saturday)
- It's cherry season! Head to the East Bay town of Brentwood to pick your own certified organic cherries at Dwelley Family Farms, 8:30 am–4 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday, May 21
- St. Anselm School's annual Festival of Fun has carnival rides, games, cake walk, jumpy houses, music, and more, 10 am–8 pm. Free admission, purchase tickets for rides and games.
- Join Mx Mishi for Storytime in the Park, on the lawn in front of the Sausalito in Robin Sweeny Park, 11 am.
- Dress in your "frenchiest" spring attire and bring your favorite teddy for a free family Teddy Bear Pic-nique and open house at Le Petit Jardin French Immersion Preschool in Sonoma! 11 am–1:30 pm

Learn the basics of using a map and compass at an orienteering Junior Ranger program at Stafford Lake Park! Ideal for ages 6–9, but all ages welcome. noon–2 pm

Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to help support Marin's Foster Youth at Marin Foster Care Association's third annual Dance-a-thon. 4:30–7 pm

Gather the family and your sleeping bags and have a campout in your backyard for Under the Stars, a Sleepout to End Homelessness in Marin. 6 pm

Come out and enjoy a warm campfire, songs and marshmallow roast at the Sonoma Barracks. 7 pm

Bring your blankets and a picnic and enjoy a free outdoor movie, The Sandlot at Contratti Ballfield in Fairfax. 8 pm

Explore the galaxy at a public star party at Robert Ferguson Observatory at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park in Kenwood. Advance tickets required. 9 pm
Sunday, May 22
- Shop for fresh produce and locally produced foods and enjoy live entertainment at the Sunday Marin Farmer's Market at the Civic Center in San Rafael. 8 am–1 pm
- Bring the kiddos to Touch Trucks to benefit the new Larkspur Library. Explore vehicles, talk to drivers, imagine and learn at this fun family event all about trucks. Redwood High School, East Parking lot (park in the West Parking lot), 10 am–2 pm. Get your tickets here.
- The Mountain Play returns to Mt. Tam for its 109th season with the premiere of Hello, Dolly!, Sunday, 2 pm. All youth ages 5–25 admitted free on opening day (advance tickets required)!
- Rock out with your canine friend at Marin Humane's annual Woofstock fundraiser, noon–5 pm, Novato.
