All Weekend
- Explore the San Francisco Bay Trail with the Bay Day Challenge, Friday–Monday, all day.
- Mickelson Pumpkin Patch has a huge pumpkin field and plenty of attractions like a hay maze, games, tractor rides, and farm animals. Opens Saturday, 9 am–10 pm.
- Pick the perfect pumpkin and get lost in the corn maze at Petaluma Pumpkin Patch, Friday & Saturday, 10 am–10 pm and Sunday, 10 am–6 pm.
- Pick a pumpkin, brave the Haunted Village, visit the farm animals at Pronzini Farms Pumpkin Patch, 10 am–7 pm.
- Come stroll, shop, dine, and dance on San Anselmo Avenue, with live music in Creek Park, Friday & Saturday, 6–8:30 pm.
Friday, September 29
- Come to Hauke Park in Mill Valley for a pop-up storytime, Friday, 10:15 am.
- Enjoy a Kids Concert, a free sing-along with Wee Yogis, Imagination Park, Downtown San Anselm, 5:30–6:30 pm.
- Bring the kiddos to see Disney's Encanto for free outdoors at Marin Country Mart, Friday, 6 pm.
- Hike to a hilltop vista in San Rafael's China Camp State Park to see the Harvest Moon rise, Friday, 6:15–8:45 pm.
Saturday, September 30
- The Santa Rosa Pumpkin Patch opens this Saturday, with a huge pumpkin field, games, rides, a giant corn maze, an Oktoberfest celebration and more, 9 am–10 pm.
- Enjoy a fun-filled day of farm activities at Slide Ranch's Family Farm Day, Muir Beach, 9:30 am–1 pm. Get your tickets here!
- Novato's Grossi Family Farm pumpkin patch opens for the season on Saturday with 4 acres of pumpkins, farm animals, hay maze, and more, 10 am–5:30 pm
- Enjoy food, music, arts and crafts and the blessing of the grapes at the 126th Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival in Sonoma, Saturday, 10 am–5 pm.
- Muelrath Ranches Pumpkin Patch in Santa Rosa opens for the Halloween season on Saturday, 10 am–6 pm
- Bring the family to the Novato Harvest Festival & Grape Stomp at Trek Winery and enjoy local food, wine and beer tastings, and live music, Saturday, 1:30–5:30 pm
- Gather in the Mill Valley Library's Children's Room for Family Storytime, Saturday, 2 pm.
- The Lark Drive-In presents Despicable Me 3 at the Village at Corte Madera, Saturday, 7:20 pm.
Sunday, October 1
- Shop for fresh produce and locally made foods and enjoy live music at the Marin Civic Center farmer's market in San Rafael, Sunday, 8 am–1 pm.
- Join the Tiburon Challenger tennis tournament for a free kids' clinic at the Tiburon Peninsula Club, Sunday 9–10:30 am.
- Celebrate the Korean Chuseok Festival with family activities, K-Pop dance, and more, at the Asian Art Musuem, Sunday, 10 am–2:30 pm
- Visit MarinMOCA in Novato for hands-on art activities on Free Family Day, Sunday, 11 am–3 pm.
