- Explore the world of model trains at the Carquinez Model Railroad Society's open house in Crockett, Saturday & Sunday, 10 am–4 pm.
- See San Jose Middle School's production of Disney's Beauty & the Beast, Jr., Friday, 6 pm, Saturday & Sunday, 1 pm.
- Disney on Ice presents "Let's Dance" at the Oakland Arena, Friday & Saturday, 6:30 pm; Saturday & Sunday 11 am & 3 pm.
- Learn about elephant seals at Drakes Beach in Point Reyes National Seashore, Saturday & Sunday, 11 am & 2 pm.
Friday, February 27
- Sing and stomp with musician Emily Bonn at San Anselmo Library, Friday, 10:30–11 am.
- Bring the little ones (0–5) for storytime at Larkspur Library, 10–10:30 am.
- The Sunset Night Market returns to San Francisco to welcome the Year of the Horse! Friday, 5–10 pm.

- Welcome the Year of the Horse at Oakland Chinatown's Lunar New Year Parade, Saturday, 10 am–4 pm.
