• The Marin Arts & Crafts show returns to Marin Center with handmade artworks, music, and activities, Friday–Sunday, 10 am–5 pm.
• Explore the world of model trains at the Carquinez Model Railroad Society's open house in Crockett, Saturday & Sunday, 10 am–4 pm.
• See San Jose Middle School's production of Disney's Beauty & the Beast, Jr., Friday, 6 pm, Saturday & Sunday, 1 pm.
• Disney on Ice presents "Let's Dance" at the Oakland Arena, Friday & Saturday, 6:30 pm; Saturday & Sunday 11 am & 3 pm.
• Learn about elephant seals at Drakes Beach in Point Reyes National Seashore, Saturday & Sunday, 11 am & 2 pm.

Friday, February 27

• Sing and stomp with musician Emily Bonn at San Anselmo Library, Friday, 10:30–11 am.
• Bring the little ones (0–5) for storytime at Larkspur Library, 10–10:30 am.
• The Sunset Night Market returns to San Francisco to welcome the Year of the Horse! Friday, 5–10 pm.
• Bring the kiddos for a free movie night featuring Chicken Run at Tam Valley Community Center, 5:30 pm. RSVP here.

Saturday, February 28

• Get creative at Larkspur Library’s free Art Day, Saturday, 10 am–noon.
• Experience a free spring magic show with magician Mike Della Penna at Novato City Hall, Saturday, 10 and 11:30 am.
• Celebrate the creative spirit of Sausalito at Sausalito Art & Harbor Days, Saturday, 10 am–3 pm.
• Welcome the Year of the Horse at Oakland Chinatown's Lunar New Year Parade, Saturday, 10 am–4 pm.
• Bring the kiddos to see Once Upon A Mattress live on stage at the Presidio Theatre in San Francisco, Saturday, 10:30 am & 1:30 pm.
• Celebrate the Lunar New Year with a performance by the Marin Chinese Cultural Association Lion Dance Team, Fairfax Library, 11:30 am–12:30 pm.

• Explore the World War II-era Battery Townsley in the Marin Headlands at its monthly open house, Sunday, noon–4 pm.
