There's plenty of seasonal fun waiting for families:
- Iceless Skating: Slip, slide, twirl, and glide across a special iceless skating rink designed for young children. It's a fun way to experience the excitement of skating without real ice!
- Snow Play in the Bay (Weekends Only): Celebrate winter with a flurry of fun! Experience the wonder of "snow" without leaving the Bay Area.
- Giant Gingerbread Houses: Let your child's imagination run wild as they decorate larger-than-life play gingerbread houses.
- Toy Makers Studio: Get creative with hands-on tinkering and toy-making activities that encourage imagination and discovery.
Families can also explore the museum's indoor and outdoor play areas, interactive exhibits, and creative spaces during their visit.

Winter Wonderlab is offered on select dates during the holiday season, including weekends and school breaks.

- Thanksgiving Break: November 25 and 27, 2026
- Winter Break: December 21–23 and December 28–31, 2026
- Museum Closed: November 26, December 24–25, 2026, and January 1, 2027
