Here's our weekly list of 15 fun things to do with the kids this week, September 7–13. From live music and yoga to drive-in movies and family hikes, there's something for everyone.

Keep in mind that some of these activities require advance registration, so check the organizer's website before you attend. If you have something fun you'd like to share, please let us know and we'll consider it for next week's list!

  1. SF Shakespeare Festival presents King Lear Live live on YouTube on Labor Day, 4 pm.
  2. Stroll along the water on the Tiburon bike path.
  3. Make delicious BBQ pulled chicken sandwiches for Labor Day .
  4. Make a pitcher of fresh homemade strawberry lemonade.
  5. Experience music, mindfulness and yoga with Jocelyn at Wee Yogis. Monday–Wednesday, 10:30 am.
  6. Get hands-on with Creative Constructions at the Exploratorium.
  7. Enjoy Music and Movement Storytime for toddlers with April from the Marin County Library.
  8. Check out one of our 5 fall family hikes in Marin.
  9. Make your reservation to play and learn outdoors at the the Bay Area Discovery Museum.
  10. Rock out with Charity Kahn's outdoor family show at the Outer Sunset Farmer's Market. Sundays, 10 am
  11. Print and color your own cool Cal Academy Nigel Sussman coloring page.
  12. Iris, from the Marin County Library reads some of her homemade mini-books and teaches you how to make your own!
  13. The Petaluma Drive-in Movie presents Pixar's UP at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds. Friday, September 11, 7:30 pm.
  14. Tune in to the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Kelp Forest Live Cam for a narrated feeding. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 10 am
  15. Experience The Wizard of OZ at the Lark Drive-in: Movies Under the Stars. Friday, September 11, 8:30 pm.
