Girl Scout Cookie Season Is Here!

Fans of Girl Scout Cookies rejoice — it's that time of year again! Whether it's from a table set up by the supermarket or via online ordering, buying these treats from you local Girl Scouts not only provides you with tasty treats, but helps support their scout troop activities as well. We make sure to buy more than a few boxes every year; after all, what is life without Thin Mints?

Girl Scouts of Northern California was kind enough to send us a preview box of cookies so we could sample them and let our audience know all about them. (I know … it's tough work.) We were so excited to open up the box to discover all our old favorites as well this year's all-new offering: Adventurefuls. Adventurefuls are circles of brownie-like cookie filled with caramel crème with a hint of sea salt. My whole family agreed that they're pretty amazing.

Girl Scout Cookie season is on now and runs through March 27, 2022. Cookies cost $6 a box and are available in-person from Girl Scouts or online. (Note that Adventurefuls and Girl Scout S'Mores are for in-person delivery only.) Girl Scouts have their own web pages where you can order cookies, but if you don't know a scout, you can also order them from Girl Scouts of Northern California; they'll match you up with a two scouts in your area, based on ZIP code, who can make sure you get your cookie fix. This year, Girl Scouts are partnering with DoorDash to provide no-contact delivery service on selected dates during the 2022 cookie season. From February 14 through March 27, customers can order through the delivery app in participating cities. A perfect opportunity to send a loved one a “cookie-gram” on Valentine’s Day. DoorDash app is available on Apple iTunes or for Android on Google Play.
