All Weekend
- Take a walk along the path or beach at San Francisco Presidio's Crissy Field.
- Experience incredible lighted art in a free event in downtown Napa, Friday & Saturday, 6–10 pm, Sunday 6–9 pm.
- Head out to Point Reyes National Seashore for whale and elephant seal watching, Saturday & Sunday, 10 am–4 pm.
- Take a family waterfall hike to Buck Gulch Falls in Novato (AKA the Fairway Waterfall).
- Learn about elephant seals at Drakes Beach in Point Reyes National Seashore, Saturday & Sunday, 11 am & 2 pm.
Friday, January 26
- Sing, dance, jump and play with musician Emily Bonn at San Anselmo Library, Friday, 10:30–11 am.
- Listen to and learn about traditional instruments of West Africa with local musician Keenan Webster at the Corte Madera Library, Friday, noon–1 pm.
- Help support youth a capella group 'Til Dawn at their annual fundraiser concert at Marin Country Mart in Larkspur, Friday, 7–8 pm.
Hike and picnic at Jack London State Historic Park in Glen Ellen.
Saturday, January 27
- Shop for fresh produce and locally made foods and enjoy live kids' entertainment at the Marin Country Mart Farmers' Market, Saturday, 9 am–2 pm.
- Hike and picnic at Jack London Historic Park in Glen Ellen this weekend ($10 cash entrance fee).
- Bring the little ones for Storytime with Mr. Brian - swing by to sing, move, read, and learn, South Novato Library, 11 am–noon.
- Join Mill Valley Library for Family Storytime in the Children's Room on Saturday, 2–2:30 pm.
- Enjoy a concert of traditional Irish music from Shenanigans at the Corte Madera Library, Saturday, 3–4 pm.
Sunday, January 28
- Get your fruits and veggies and handcrafted local foods at the Marin Civic Center Farmers Market, Sunday, 8 am–1 pm.
- Make a winter mobile with Marin Parks rangers at Paradise Beach Park in Tiburon, Sunday, 10 am–noon.
- Learn about animals of the arctic at the Marine Mammal Center in the Marin Headlands, Sunday, noon & 2 pm.
- Meet Peter, Wendy, the Lost Boys, and Captain Hook at Peter Pan: A Musical Adventure at the Presidio Theatre, Sunday, 2 pm.
- Join Teacher Yara for a fun filled bilingual storytime for babies and toddlers at Mill Valley Library, Sunday, 2–2:30 pm.
