Here's our weekly list of 15 fun things to do with the kids this week, March 22–28. From museums and drive-in movies to family hikes and craft projects, there's something for everyone.
Keep in mind that many of these activities require advance registration, so check the organizer's website before you attend. If you have something fun you'd like to share, please let us know and we'll consider it for next week's list!
- Easter is less than 2 weeks away! Get creative with these fun watercolor Easter eggs.
- The Sausalito Library presents Online Stories and Songs: Bear Has a Story to Tell.
- Now open! Book your tickets for a visit to Children's Fairyland in Oakland.
- Walk, bike and play along the water at Blackie's Pasture in Tiburon.
- Make a batch of English-style scones for a proper afternoon tea.
- Get fresh organic strawberries and other produce at one of the year-round farmer's markets.
- Take a family hike at Mount Burdell Open Space Preserve in Novato.
- Drop-in for some outdoor Music Time with Megan, Wednesday–Friday at various locations throughout Marin.
- Pick-up pottery painting to go at Studio4 Art in San Rafael and Novato.
- Create a magical metamorphosis (caterpillar to butterfly) craft with the Cal Academy.
- Come to the Lark Drive-In at the Village at Corte Madera for screenings of Babe (Thursday) and Ratatouille (Friday), 8:30 pm.
- Explore a new mountain bike trail with the family.
- Bonjour! Gather the little ones for virtual French Storytime with Emilia with Belvedere Tiburon Library.
- Visit the de Young museum, Golden Gate Park for free (with proof of Bay Area residency). Saturday, 9:30 am–5:15 pm.
- Rent a boat, relax, and paddle around Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park.
