Monday, September 13
- Fall is almost here! Have the kiddos help bake a fresh batch of fall pumpkin oatmeal cookies.
- Stroll along the water on the Tiburon bike path.
- Join online Monkey Storytime with the classic book Caps For Sale from the Oakland Zoo.
- Learn how to make your own LEGO stop motion movie.
Tuesday, September 14
- Stroll through the amazing rows of flowers at the Happy Dahlia Farm in Petaluma, Tuesday–Sunday, 10 am–4 pm
- Check out one of our 5 fall family hikes in Marin.
- Tune in daily at 10:30 am and 3 pm for live penguin feeding at Cal Academy of Sciences.
- Take the kiddos to play and burn off some energy at Hal Brown Park at Creekside in Greenbrae.
Visit the animals at Tilden Park's Little Farm in Berkeley, open daily
Wednesday, September 15
- Rent a boat, relax, and paddle around Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park.
- Bring a blanket and join Mill Valley Librarian Lauren for outdoor storytime and songs, Wednesdays, 10:15 am, Amphitheater stage behind the Library.
- Explore the new Gumnut Grove at the Bay Area Discovey Museum in Sausalito Wednesday–Sunday, 9 am– 4pm.
Thursday, September 16
- Plan a visit to Tilden Park in Berkeley for the Little Farm, historic merry-go-round, stream trains, and more. Open daily.
- Explore the beauty of the San Francisco Botanical Garden in Golden Gate Park on Beansprouts Family Day. 10 am
- Come to Copperfields Books at Marin Country Mart for a free outdoor storytime. 11 am
Enjoy shopping, art, live music, incredible food, and more at the family friendly Treasurefest at Marin Center. Saturday & Sunday, 10 am–5 pm
Friday, September 17
- Sing along children's entertainer Megan Schoenbohm at Mill Valley's Boyle Park, 9:30 am.
- Flower Piano returns to the San Francisco Botanical Garden in Golden Gate Park from September 17–21, open daily, 10 am–6 pm.
- Free kids sing along concert with kids entertainer, Tim Cain, Friday 5–6 pm, Imagination Park, Downtown San Anselmo.
- Catch a free screening of Pixar's Monsters University at Marin Country Mart and grab dinner and drinks from one of their great restaurants. 6 pm
- Head to the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds in Petaluma for a classic drive-in movie: The Goonies. 7 pm
- Mill Valley Recreation presents a free showing of Cars in the park (advance registration required). 7:30 pm
Saturday, September 18
- Browse amazing art and experience live entertainment under the redwoods at the annual Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival. Saturday & Sunday, 10 am–5 pm
