Monday, January 17

• Explore and picnic at author Jack London's Beauty Ranch in Glen Ellen.
• Visit the Bay Area Discovery Museum for active and educational play. Open Monday for the MLK Day holiday, 9 am–4 pm. Advance tickets required.
• Head to Drakes Beach in Point Reyes National Seashore to observe the elephant seals and explore the beach.
• Make a batch of lemon bars with fresh meyer lemons.
• Monday is the last day to ice skate at Union Square in San Francisco.

Tuesday, January 18

• Take the little ones on one of these Marin hikes that are perfect for ages 5 and under.
• Play a round of mini golf at McInnis Park in San Rafael.
• Learn about bees with online Pint-Size Storytime presented by the San Rafael Public Library.

Friday, January 21

• Visit the Morgan horses in Bear Valley at Point Reyes National Seashore. Open daily.

Saturday & Sunday, January 22 & 23

• Head out to Point Reyes National Seashore for whale and elephant seal watching.
• Take a fun family waterfall hike to the Fairway Waterfall in Novato.
